It is never too early to be thinking about and preparing for the career that interests you.  For most students this will mean further education and training beyond the age of sixteen in order to gain the qualifications and experience, which will enable them to get a worthwhile job.

The Post 16 Centre

Minster College has excellent Post 16 education opportunities and courses.  The purpose-built Post 16 Centre has terrific learning and social facilities and the Internet-linked computer suite has impressed all those who have seen it.  As a mature student you will be treated differently to main school pupils.

There are courses for pupils of all abilities and interests.  The extensive range of advanced subjects will appeal to academic pupils who wish to go on to University or enter professional training.  More practical students will be drawn towards the number of vocational courses in each subject as Engineering, Art, Office Skills and Childcare.  There are also courses for those who just want to brush up on their basic education.
