The Student

Targets:

• attend school every day, on time and with the correct equipment.
• wear the college uniform, be tidy in appearance and make every effort to keep the school litter free
• complete all classwork and homework to the best of my ability and on time.
• adhere to the College's policy and guidelines, particularly those concerning behaviour and bullying.
• be polite and helpful to others at all times.
• to be a good ambassador for Minster College at all times.
• to strive to develop my full potential in all areas of my life.

The School

Targets:

• support the student in achieving 100% attendance and contact parents if there is a problem via the Home Links Officer.
• provide a balanced curriculum, including a full range of option subjects and meet the needs of the student.
• be open and welcoming at all times and let parents know about any concerns or problems that affect your child's work or behaviour.
• enhance each student's personal and social development.
• send home regular assessments; set, mark and monitor homework; and provide regular parental interviews.
• ensure teachers conduct themselves in a professional manner.

The Parents/Guardians

Targets:

• see that the student attends the school every day, on tiem and properly equipped. If absence occurs then the Home Links Officer should be informed by 9 am on the first day.
• inform the school about any concerns or problems that might affect our son/daughter's work or behaviour.
• support all the school's policies and guidelines, particularly those concerning behaviour, uniform, non-smoking, bullying and homework.
• attend parents' consultation days and discussions about students' progress.
