Name of Reviewer: S. Dalgarno Title of Book: The Crow: The Story Behind the Film Author: Bridget Baiss Publisher, Date and Price: Titan Books, January 23, 2004, RRP £14.99 Reviewed on: 22nd June 2005 The
crow was a great cult film with a great following. It had plenty
of action scenes from Brandon Lee, who tragically lost his life whilst
filming a scene with a gun. The Last half of the film was made using
computer-generated images of Brandon with another actor. This
book explains how the film was made, how the special effects budget
went up and how the film set was thought to be mysteriously cursed
during filming of certain scenes.
This book is a credit to the
wonderful actors and actresses and other people involved in bringing to
the big screen a story that had such a tragic ending for actor Brandon
Lee. I would give this book a mark out of 10, because: 8/10. A thoroughly good read, although a tragic tale. I would recommend this book to: Anyone that would enjoy a good non fiction fact based read.
